This past Sunday, I had an awesome crew out at the winery and we cranked through and bottled ~170 cases of rosé. One of the fastest, and smoothest bottling runs I’ve had yet.

So yes, a bunch of rosé, but 2 different wines:

2017 Jackalope Wine Cellars Rosé: an approximately 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Another unfiltered rosé, but less hazy than last year. Still full of texture and gorgeous fruit (yes, it is dry).

2017 Trosé. What is this wine, you may be asking? Well. It’s a collaboration project that my buddy Beau (Random Wine Company) and I made out of the Trousseau Noir grape. It was the first time that either of us had worked with this fruit (or ever seen it, honestly) and we are stoked. We wanted to make a party out of this wine, so it’s almost exclusively being offered in the 1.5L (Magnum!) format.

Both wines should be ready for release in early to mid-April.
